Soil sensors
In-situ measurements of the specific soil properties needed to diagnose soil problems and write prescriptions for remediation — taken while the machine keeps moving.
Sensor ecosystem
Three instruments, one platform.
N-Sense soil sensors are a critical component of our precision soil fertility and soil health management systems.
Measures plant-available nitrogen
N-Mapper™
The N-Mapper™ is a soil nitrate sensor for plant-available nitrogen. Quick measurements at critical growth stages are necessary to optimize nitrogen fertilizer rates and reduce risk. Working together, the N-Mapper™ and N-Sense Field Management software give farmers high-resolution variable-rate nitrogen prescriptions that increase yields and decrease loss of fertilizer to leaching.
Measures soil biochar index
SoilQualityMapper™
The SoilQualityMapper™ measures the soil properties needed to assess soil health — SOM, SOC, CEC, EC, pH and WC. It is specifically optimized for creating biochar prescriptions that mitigate soil health problems while sequestering carbon. The biochar industry is expected to grow rapidly over the next decade as carbon removal scales up.
Measures crop health
CropScoutAI™
The CropScoutAI™ is a machine vision system tuned for early growth-stage plant health assessment. It uses a custom AI model to evaluate the plant and the ground as the sensor platform moves through the field. Insights include plant nutrient deficiencies, early disease warning, insect damage, stand count, surface residue cover and weed population — a second set of eyes on the field, all season.
